I joined Vistorm 18 months ago, as I was ready for my next challenge, and it is exactly that! No two days are the same, and there are always exciting and fun projects to get involved in. Vistorm is one big team, and we work together to achieve a common goal, and this is what makes us successful in what we do.
From my first day I was welcomed on board, and during my Induction I had the opportunity to meet with the Management team, including Jim Kent, our CEO, and learn more about what we do and how we do it from those in the know. The office atmosphere is very vibrant and there is a great energy around. Our working environment is very important to us, so we are currently working on a project that will see us re-vamping all of our offices, with particular emphasis on our head office in Daresbury.
My time at Vistorm has kick started my career both in Human Resources and in Vistorm, and I have been offered support with my studies as well as training on the job. In my role in Human Resources I am also given the opportunity to help others progress through the use of regular appraisals and the employee assessment scheme for promotions.
One of the projects that I have worked on was to update the employee benefits scheme, and in November last year, we launched an employees benefits website where all of Vistorm's employees can benefit from discounts on hundreds of products including days out, trips abroad, high street shopping and much more. We have an excellent benefits scheme at Vistorm, and I am sure that all of our employees would agree!
I have learnt a lot in my short time here, and Vistorm is the type of organisation where everyone can make a difference and everyone is heard. You are empowered to make a difference, I recommend it to anyone!
